Yup, you read right. myScoop now has the ability to fetch your articles in real-time, granted that you are already linked with a pubsubhubbub hub, or you already have the wordpress PuSHPress plugin installed. If this sounds completely gibberish to you, don't stress as the chances that you already qualify for real-time posting to myScoop are high. Read more on why that is here. I'm not going to go into too much detail as to how myScoop fetches your articles in real time so here is the short version of the chain of events:

I've received a few enquiries lately about how myScoop determines which articles are "popular" and which are not. The simple answer is to make use of the shortened URI of the article that myScoop generates once it has fetched and processed your latest article. This shortened URI is a basic "pointing system" that when clicked on, myScoop will record certain information and then redirect you to the correct article post linked to the shortened code. Follow these steps after logging in to get your myScoop shortened URI:

For years, the scientists at the German GEO600 experimental facility have been baffled by an inexplicable "noise". The GEO600 experiment is home to a detector that stretches for 600 metres which is supposed to detect gravitational waves - ripples in space-time thrown off by super-dense astronomical objects such as black holes and neutron stars. Since the birth of this experiment, none of these gravitational waves have been detected, instead, they may have made the most important discovery in physics for the past 50 years.
