myScoop has moved over to its new host with only a few glitches here and there. The near-seamless transition took place during the hours of 8pm on Saturday 13 March to around 6am on the 14 March. This new host has tons more power than the previous and allows for a larger amount of bandwidth usage which makes way for more innovative features that you will be seeing soon. The host is also running off a more secure backend which in turn means more security for you.

One of the latest additions to the new features that I'm rolling out on a constant basis is the ability to get your blog reviewed, as well as review other blogs using myScoop. While trying to create a "blogging community", I'm constantly looking for ways for bloggers to interact with each other and I believe that a reviewing process may help this along somewhat.

I've received a few enquiries lately about how myScoop determines which articles are "popular" and which are not. The simple answer is to make use of the shortened URI of the article that myScoop generates once it has fetched and processed your latest article. This shortened URI is a basic "pointing system" that when clicked on, myScoop will record certain information and then redirect you to the correct article post linked to the shortened code. Follow these steps after logging in to get your myScoop shortened URI:
