He is in fact, an absolute idiot. Numerous people are interrupted in interviews such as this, this AWB piece of s!@t is not the only person. The woman would have continued her statement for about only 5 more seconds at most. You can tell that by the manner in which she began and progressed her response. This intolerent, racist dumbass has no excuse for acting the way he did/does and for thinking the way he did/does other than the fact that he was unfortunate enough to have been raised in a background which fed this pathetically foolish ideology of his. He’s still an idiot. No way around that…
It was a debate on 2 different opinions, of course things are going to heat up. Whether or not you should lose your cool on live television is another thing. Either Visagie went there with the intention to make a scene or the man has a VERY short temper when it comes to people of a different color. Then again, the analyst did interrupt him regularly sounds like she had an underlying tone in her voice. Either way, E-TV should have thought about this more cleverly..
However Sean, we are all entitled to our own opinion.
Provokation is not an excuse for someone in his position to act like he did. He is an idiot.
He should have maintained his composure and shown that he is capable of reasonable debate regardless of the antagonism of his debating opponent.
Honestly I think the interviewer should have taken control of that. At the start of the video there was clearly going to be an incident which the interviewer let fester… He should have calmed each of them down and moved the interview back on track.
Shouting “touch me on my studio” doesn’t really take control but add further fuel to the fire and sounds more like a command in the bedroom!
e.tv are even more to blame as the producers of the show should have cut to commercial as soon as Mr Visage walked back on camera.
I agree that Mr Visage should have had more control though.
